Kipu in the Garden

Our Kipu is half Burmese (from his biological father) and half Siamese (from his biological mother), and that makes him Tonkinese.

DUCKS ON THE LAKE MAKING WAVES

Ducks are swimming and diving, and Ibises are relaxing
on the shore.

DUCK DID IT

A duck dove into the lake on February 3, 2010. The image she created on the water
was such, that it made me think of a graphic art design at that moment, or maybe
later on, when I  looked at the digital camera screen. There is something "dark" and
unsettling about it. Perhaps it brings to mind  the famous painting by Munch, called "The Scream."

MAGIC

As a teen photographer I wanted to perform a magic trick
using my montage skills, and this is a detail of my art.
As a magician, I 've been performing for many audiences,
and after more than thirty years of practice, I can tell you
that nothing can beat Dreams.  Athough Apparitions can
be very strong and puzzling too, they often can be
explained with an image that the camera produces;
But as far as the Dream goes, especially the Vivid
Dream, no magic trick can translate it. Nothing can.
Period.

THE WOODEN MAN CARRYING PEAR

The Wooden Man and His Partner Pear
made an appearance at the Art Studio of the Sunrise Civic Center
last night.

"CHAMOMILE DAISY"

"Chamomile Daisy" is a name that I call this wildflower.
It reminds me of chamomile, but it's not fragrant like a chamomile, and it is clearly not a daisy. I like naming things, persons, pets, cats, dogs, weeds, chickens....

LOVE THE WILDFLOWER BOUQUET

Pretty things, these wildflower bouquets, but not everyone thinks so.
To buy one at the market is easier than to pick one yourself. Who says?
There are no wildflower bouquets at my supermarket!

My violets are called "Dog violets." They blossom every year in late January, or early February.

PINK OXALIS AND PINK QUARTZ
