I am posting this  photograph in its original uncropped and otherwise unchanged form, and I am doing this in tribute to Henri Cartier-Bresson.

CUP OF ROSES

Part of the Story of My Life is that I like
Photography as an art form. Years ago
I attended a photographic art exhibit in Poland,
somewhere near Warsaw -- and I promise to
refresh my memory, so I can remember
the name of the town. -- One of the exhibiting
artists was a young man, whose
photographs stirred the audience; there was
a talk about him and his dried roses
 -- they were unusually beautiful.
My friend and I approached the artist
and exchanged a few words with him.
And that was that.
Except, that 34 years later I still remember
those photographs of dried roses.

STORMY FLORIDA SKY AND MYRTLE BLOSSOMS

Yesterday was July 15, 2010, and the Myrtle blossoms
looked impressively luminous against the dark, stormy sky.

MAGIC

As a teen photographer I wanted to perform a magic trick
using my montage skills, and this is a detail of my art.
As a magician, I 've been performing for many audiences,
and after more than thirty years of practice, I can tell you
that nothing can beat Dreams.  Athough Apparitions can
be very strong and puzzling too, they often can be
explained with an image that the camera produces;
But as far as the Dream goes, especially the Vivid
Dream, no magic trick can translate it. Nothing can.
Period.
